CEDIA

The Custom Electronic Design & InstallationAssociation is the leading global authority in the home technology industry.CEDIA members are recognized for their expertise, professionalism and ethics indesigning and installing custom solutions for audio, video, lighting, securityand automation.

KNX

The KNX Association is the creator and owner of theKNX technology, the worldwide standard for home and building control. KNXmembers are qualified to design, install and maintain KNX systems thatintegrate lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, security, blinds,water control and energy management.

HDBaseT

The HDBaseT Alliance is a cross-industry consortiumthat promotes and advances the HDBaseT technology, which enables thetransmission of high-definition video, audio, power, control and networkingover a single cable. HDBaseT members are trained to implement HDBaseT solutionsfor various applications such as digital signage, video walls, projectors andinteractive displays.

ONVIF

The Open Network Video Interface Forum is an openindustry forum that provides and promotes standardized interfaces for effectiveinteroperability of IP-based physical security products.

SIP

The Session Initiation Protocol is a signalingprotocol used for initiating, maintaining and terminating real-time sessionsthat include voice, video and messaging applications. SIP members are compliantwith the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) standards for implementing IPtelephony, video conferencing and unified communications systems.

ANSI

The American National Standards Institute is a privatenon-profit organization that oversees the development of voluntary consensusstandards for products, services, processes, systems and personnel in theUnited States. ANSI members are accredited to use ANSI standards for ensuringquality, safety and performance of their products and services in variousfields such as acoustics, electronics, telecommunications and security.

ITU-T

The International Telecommunication Union -Telecommunication Standardization Sector is one of the three sectors of the ITUresponsible for issuing recommendations on technical aspects oftelecommunication networks and services.ITU-Tmembers follow ITU-T recommendations for designing and deploying IPTV systemsthat provide features such as timeshift TV, catch-up TV and video on demand.

IEEE 802.11

The IEEE 802.11 is a set of media access control (MAC)and physical layer (PHY) specifications for implementing wireless local areanetwork (WLAN) computer communication in various frequency bands.IEEE 802.11 membersadhere to IEEE 802.11 standards for enabling wireless transmission ofhigh-quality video and audio over WLANs
